Fort St. John Ribfest

Centennial Park



It’s back! Hosted by the Western Canada Rib Fest Tour, the Fort St. John Rib Fest is the ultimate event for barbecue enthusiasts, meat lovers, and food connoisseurs alike. The event is free to attend, so your entire budget can go towards some succulent baby back ribs, short ribs, pulled pork or brisket. All paired with a country classic – coleslaw, and baked beans. Check it out and enjoy a day filled with great food and community camaraderie. Adults can also enjoy the on-site beer garden, and kids can explore activities for kids, like face painting! All proceeds will go towards the Fort St. John and Sunrise Rotary Clubs and other community projects.

Energetic County Fair Grounds



You won’t want to miss this! The 2023 Energetic County Fair is the biggest music event in North Peace history! This massive cultural celebration will feature 5 headline concerts from notable artists including Tanya Tucker, Randy Bachman, and Chapel Hart. This event will also feature an array of activities, including captivating street performers, craft beer gardens, and family-friendly children’s performers. World-class art from our Indigenous community will be on display, making this event a complete cultural showcase of our beloved Peace River District.
